Are You Claiming
Everything You're Owed?

Most veterans are only accessing a fraction of their DVA entitlements. Not because they don't qualify — but because the system makes it almost impossible to know what you're actually owed.

Why Most Veterans
Leave Entitlements on the Table

It's not always the paperwork. It's not always the system. Sometimes it's the voice in your head that says you don't need it, don't deserve it, or shouldn't ask. That voice has cost veterans more than any form ever has.

🫱
"Someone Else Needs It More"

This is the one we hear most. And it's the one that bothers us most.

Your entitlements are not a shared pool. Someone else claiming what they're owed doesn't give you more — and you not claiming yours doesn't give anyone else anything either. You leaving it on the table just means it stays there. Unused. That's not selfless. That's just waste.

🤚
"I Don't Want a Handout"

This is not charity. This is not welfare. This is a contract.

The day you signed up, the government made you a promise — that if your service cost you something, they'd cover it. You held up your end. Claiming what you're owed isn't asking for a handout. It's collecting a debt. And the longer you wait, the longer they get to keep what's yours.

💪
"I Don't Want to Ask for Help"

You've spent a career solving problems without complaining. That's trained in — and it's not a weakness.

But there's a difference between not whinging and not being supported. The soldiers who call for reinforcements when they need them win. The ones who don't, don't. Asking At Ease for help isn't weakness. It's the right tactical decision.

🔀
The System Is Deliberately Complex

Multiple acts, different card types, condition-specific rules — the DVA system is designed by bureaucrats, not veterans. Most people give up long before they find out what they actually qualify for.

📭
Nobody Tells You What You've Earned

DVA doesn't proactively contact veterans with a list of their entitlements. If you don't know to ask for something, you don't get it. That's not an accident — and it's not right.

🃏
"I Only Have a White Card"

Many veterans don't realise how broad White Card entitlements can be — or that they may qualify for conditions they've never claimed. The card is a starting point, not a ceiling.

The Paperwork Kills the Process

Even veterans who know what they're entitled to often can't get through the claims process alone. Applications get rejected. Follow-ups don't happen. Years pass. We've seen it too many times.

What DVA can cover

What You May
Be Entitled To

The following services and supports may be available to eligible veterans through DVA. Entitlements depend on your individual circumstances, card type, and clinical assessment.

  • General Practice & Specialist Assessments

Gold Card holders can access a broad range of GP and specialist services. White Card holders can access treatment for service-related conditions.

  • Mental Health Services

Eligible veterans can access psychiatry, psychology, and mental health outpatient treatment pathways through DVA — including services you may not know you qualify for.

  • Pain Management

Referrals to pain management specialists at face-to-face clinics, with DVA funding considered for eligible veterans. DVA may also fund travel to attend appointments.

  • Natural Therapies

DVA considers funding certain natural therapies on a case-by-case basis for eligible veterans, subject to independent clinical assessment by a qualified healthcare professional.

  • DVA Claims & Medico-Legal Support

Assistance navigating DVA claims, understanding your entitlements, and accessing medico-legal reports where required. At Ease veterans receive free access to ex-RSL advocates.

  • Don't Have a DVA Card Yet?

If you've completed eligible ADF service, you may qualify for a White Card. We can walk you through the process — it's faster than most veterans think.

Entitlements listed are subject to DVA eligibility assessment on an individual basis. All clinical services require independent assessment by qualified healthcare professionals. At Ease Veteran Solutions is a referral and advocacy service — we are not a clinic, prescriber, or pharmacy.

"I was sick of the zombie mode. The standard meds numbed the pain but killed my personality and drive. I found a DVA pathway that gave me my life back — but the paperwork was a nightmare. I built this team so you don't have to fight the admin battle alone."
